The 2023 Ford Mustang GT marks the introduction of the seventh generation of this iconic car. With its sales set to begin in Summer, 2023, ''the new design'' brings much-needed updates to the Mustang. Both Mustang GT and EcoBoost models will offer an optional Performance Pack equipment upgrade, which includes a front strut-tower brace, ''Torsen limited-slip differential'', wider wheels and tires, larger Brembo brakes, and a MagneRide active-dampening suspension. For the performance-minded, optional Recaro buckets and an active exhaust are also available.
In addition, Ford offers a Performance Electronic Parking Brake that resembles a traditional lever-action handbrake and is designed to make the ''Mustang easier to drift''. For enthusiasts seeking even greater performance, there's an all-new Mustang Dark Horse track-ready model. This variant comes equipped with a more powerful 500-hp Coyote V-8 engine and a direct line to the Ford Performance parts bin, offering leaner and meaner equipment upgrades.
