Amazingly beautiful pictures of a boy with a cat

American photographer Beth Mancuso started photographing her three boys with the family's two cats when the boys were 2, 5 and 8 years old. Now, two years later, she has an impressive collection of cats and kittens growing up.

Mancuso told The Huffington Post: "Cats aren't always the easiest animals to love. Anyone can love a dog, but loving a cat takes a lot of patience and generosity. We hope that our boys are learning these things from living with our beloved cats."

The family's two cats are named Lucy and Irie. Ms. Mancuso further revealed that she started taking a lot of pictures of her son with pets because the boys taking pictures with cats look more natural when posing for photos. Mancuso's oldest son is obsessed with cats. The boy always tries to "steal" one of the two cats into his room to sleep with the cat every night. He also loves reading books, watching TV shows and movies about cats. All three children love to draw cats and make cat toys.

Mancuso plans to continue photographing the three boys until the kids are grown up and out of the house. She absolutely loves this project and feels happy every time she looks at the pictures and sees the change in her baby. The photo collection will be a diary that tells the story of her family.
