Would you believe us if we told you that this buggy in front of you is a Chevrolet Corvette? Well it is, precisely a 1999 model.
The builder of the car originally purchased it in 2019 in coupe form and decided to transform it from its roots. It all started with the removal of the fiberglass body and then the shortening of the frame on both ends. An exterior cage was then manufactured from DOM tubing. It also has a Rubicon front bumper, DOT-certified Hella headlamps, LED taillights with working turn signals and reverse lights, a 2019 Camaro Z/28 muffler, and much more. Power is delivered via the original 5.7-liter V8 with 345 horsepower mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
The interior of the car remains mostly intact with the heat and A/C unit being fully functional. You can see the original Corvette wheel with the dash denoting the 200-mph speed mark and a 7k-rpm tachometer. All the little gauges are fully functional and so is the radio, however, the speakers of the car are removed so that renders it a bit useless.
This car comes with a clean Arizona title and a few receipts that document the build process. You can bid your hard-earned cash on this Corvette Buggy on Bring a Trailer here.
