Once upon a time, there was a canine named Squishy who was struck with fear when she made her debut on the sandy shores of Saipan, an island. Due to her poor physical state, concerned beach enthusiasts reached out to Boonie Babies Rescue for assistance.
According to Aria Keilbach, the founder of Boonie Babies Rescue, her house was conveniently located near the beach, allowing her to reach it in just 5 minutes. Squishy, a dog in distress, was found by Keilbach suffering from dehydration and heat exhaustion. The fact that Squishy had a collar on led Keilbach to believe that the poor animal had been abandoned.
It was clear that Squishy had not received any care for a considerable amount of time due to her mange, tick disease, and malnourishment. Surprisingly, she had only been left on the beach for a brief period. Although Squishy showed aggression towards Keilbach and the volunteers, they were able to capture her without much difficulty since she was in a weakened state.
Keilbach took the scared dog, who was wrapped in a towel. Despite her initial fear, the dog soon realized that those around her were trying to help and she stopped being aggressive, instead wagging her tail.
Fortunately, as time passed, the canine’s recovery progressed significantly, and her fur began to grow back! While Keilbach typically finds new homes for the dogs she rescues, she couldn’t resist the charms of Squishy’s exceptional beauty and decided to make her a permanent part of her family.
