Shakira's youngest son, Sasha, born to her and Gerard Piqué, is just a few months old, yet the striking resemblance to the renowned soccer player is already remarkable.
The globally acclaimed pop icon shared a photo on Thursday, showcasing little Sasha alongside a snapshot of Piqué as an infant. From their noses and eyes to even their tousled hair, the resemblance is uncanny – they could easily pass for twins!
Shakira posted these photos as a tribute to El Día del Padres, or Father's Day, celebrated on March 19 in Spain. On Facebook, the singer captioned the images in both Spanish and English, using the phrases “De tal palo…tal astilla!” and “Like father… like son!”
Before Sasha's birth in January, the couple organized a "World Baby Shower" in partnership with UNICEF, allowing fans to contribute "gifts" such as measles vaccines and clean water kits to children worldwide.
Shakira's initial UNICEF baby shower, held in 2013 for the birth of their first son, Milan, resulted in the donation of 80,000 polio vaccines, several tons of food for malnourished children, and approximately 1,000 malaria bed nets.
