Living as a Baby: The Rare Condition Afflicting a 23-Year-Old Man._Baby Cute

Manpreet Singh, is a 23-year-old man from India who, despite being born completely healthy,  stopped growing after his first birthday  due to a mysterious condition that has left him trapped in a baby's body weighing 4 .9 kilos.

Manpreet is nicknamed in his village as the "pint-sized man", to the locals he is like a divine manifestation and is considered an incarnation of God. He has captured attention for both his physical and cognitive similarity to that of a one-year-old.

Although local doctors believe his condition may have been caused by a hormonal imbalance,  scientists think Manpreet may have Laron Syndrome, a rare genetic condition . Of the three brothers, Manpreet is the only one who suffers from this condition.

People with this Syndrome lack a hormone called Insulin-like Growth Factor 1, or IGF-1, which is responsible for stimulating cell growth and division for the formation of new cells.

Unfortunately, his family has not been able to receive any diagnosis because they do not have the financial resources to pay for preliminary investigations that exceed $6,700.

Manpreet requires the attention and care of a baby, so his parents sent him to his uncles' house in Hisar so that they could take care of him. His maternal uncles  are the ones in charge of taking him everywhere.

His palms are swollen. His feet and face are large and his skin is very loose. Despite not knowing how to speak  , she can laugh, cry and scream. She learned to communicate with gestures.

His 45-year-old uncle Karanvir Singh and aunt Lakhwinder Kaur care for him like their own child and say they enjoy his antics. Now it is Manpreet himself who does not want to return to his parents' house.

When Manpreet is at his parents' house, he stops eating and doesn't stop crying to return to his uncles, because it really is the place where he feels happiest. Her uncles really enjoy her company.

When he returns he becomes the same happy and fun boy. We love this little bundle of joy so much that the thought of letting it go makes us very sad."

Manpreet laughs like a little child and it takes a long time to see him sad. Only when some animal makes a sound does he become terrified and cry. He really is a lovely boy.

Her aunt added that Manpreet loves milk cake, her morning tea, and eating a couple of loaves a day.

He has also become quite an expert when it comes to imitating people, especially his cousin and uncle when he offers a few prayers before driving.

Manpreet is in charge of receiving the guests, whom he kindly greets and invites them to take a seat.

His family is worried about his future and that is why they have consulted doctors in nearby cities.

We took him to some doctors but unfortunately his condition has no improvement. We have accepted his fate and in a way we are happy to have him, since his joy illuminates the lives of many ”.

The family does not have enough resources to take him to a specialist or a renowned hospital, which is why they have asked for help to raise funds for the investigations and his subsequent treatment, through a crowdfunding campaign  in  Ketto.

Life often has mysteries that remain forever without any logical explanation, we hope that the mystery behind this little man's rare condition can be revealed. He shares with your friends.
