Lucia’s family has an unusual but incredible history! She is the mother of six children who were not planned and arrived in a surprising way.
First, she had a son, then she had twins, and she unexpectedly had her third pregnancy with triplets.
“My husband and I never planned on having a large family. But the pregnancies were happening and even though it wasn’t what we expected, I love my huge family,” she told Bored Panda.
Lucia, who works as a photographer, spoke about the sʜᴏᴄᴋ of discovering the arrival of triplets and how life has changed even more with them.
“So first, we had our son, and we were so happy to have grown our family. Then, when we found out we were having twins, we were so sʜᴏᴄᴋᴇᴅ, we couldn’t stop laughing at the ᴜʟᴛʀᴀsᴏᴜɴᴅ office. Then, when we found out we were having triplets, we couldn’t speak. We just couldn’t comprehend it. It was so surreal. The triplets arrived at 35 weeks, and life became super busy. Breastfeeding three babies was a big challenge, but we did it.”
Three baby girls fascinated the viewers with their pure and innocent beauty, like angels.
“Going out with all the kids took a long time. We have to be very organized. My mom helps a lot and we also learned that we should always program ourselves to be gone longer because everyone on the street stops us and wants to talk to you when twins and triplets come,” she said.
Mom shared some fun stories, like when she went to the zoo and the triple stroller was so big it couldn’t go through the entrance gate. “Luckily, they let us go around and use the driveway. In the end, we got used to the challenges,” she recalled.
“Now, the kids are older, life is still busy, but different. I work part-time as a photographer, and all the kids are at school. We still make time for family holidays, which is our favorite thing to do. Spending time together exploring new places is what we look forward to the most.”
