Photographer mom from Alabama, Heather Mitchell got the idea while chatting with another mom during her daughter's softball practice recently.
My youngest daughter is 8 years old and she is trying softball for the first time. A couple of weeks ago we were practicing and I told other moms that I hope Paislee learns to love the game. because I'm a sports person. One mother told me she's not a sports person because she's very girly. I couldn't sleep that night. All I could think was: Why? Do I have to choose?.
Ms. Heather continued: I played every sport my school had and always put on lipstick every time we played. The next day, we went to the studio to take pictures of the kids. I really only spent about three minutes. to shoot because I know exactly what I want.
I posted these photos on my personal Facebook and got a lot of requests, so we opened up two more shooting days and they were sold out in an hour. I continued to open for two more days and was also full. The photos posted are of my daughter and some other girls during the first photo shoot. I have three more shoots next month."
