Photographer Captured The Images Of A Tiny Owl Hiding From Rain Under A Mushroom_Bird Lovers

Like hawks and eagles, owls are sort of titled raptors or birds of prey, meaning, they use their sharp talons and curved bills to hunt, kill and eat other prey.

But owls can be slightly different from hawks and eagles in countless ways. A majority of owls have large heads, sturdy bodies, soft and smooth feathers, short tails, and a reversible toe that can point either forward or backward. Owl’s eyes face forward, as humans do. Most owl species are active during the night, therefore they are considered nocturnal birds.

There are around 250 species of owls around the world. They live on almost every continent except the cold regions in Antarctica.

Many owls utilize their vocals at a distinctively low frequency, which allows their songs to travel for long distances without being absorbed by vegetation. Becoming familiar with these songs and other vocalizations will aid us to find and identify the presence of owls.

Photographer Tanja Brandt took an amazing photo of an owl who was hiding from the rain and surprisingly, this photo went viral on the Internet.

Her name is Poldi, who is just 1 and a half years old and he had only six sisters who were born before him. Brandt stated that she believed that animals need to be photographed and captured at their due moments. He loves going on strolls with his animals and keeping them accompanied.
