Czech company Bureko recently unveiled its latest creation, the Bureko 6×6, which is a three-axle SUV based on the previous generation Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. Unlike a simple stretched version of the standard car, this is a completely modified SUV with a tandem rear axle, which has undergone significant technical and external modifications, making it a unique vehicle.
One of the most noticeable features of the Bureko 6×6 is its external appearance. The front grille, with six vertical slots, is inspired by Hummer SUVs. The cargo area, the inside of the wheel arches, the sills, and the toolboxes are treated with a Line-X XS-100 protective coating. The visual overlays completely change the appearance of the American pickup truck.
The Bureko 6×6 is powered by a standard 420-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine from the Chevrolet Silverado. However, the company offers six options for engine refinement, which can raise the output of the power unit to 600-1200 horsepower. All versions come with an eight-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive to all six wheels, and locking differentials. The rear axles are air-suspended, and all wheels are shod with 35-inch off-road tires on 20-inch rims.
Despite its serious off-road capabilities, the Bureko 6×6 is also equipped with various luxury features, making it a versatile vehicle. These features include a Bose audio system, a rear-view camera, remote keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, and 8-way adjustable front seats that also have ventilation and heating.
However, the Bureko 6×6 has a significant issue regarding the use of the Hennessey brand name. Upon closer inspection of the photos, it is evident that the Bureko 6×6 has the Hennessey inscription on its bodywork. The Czech company is illegally using the American brand, claiming that the body kit is manufactured by Hennessey, when in fact it is not. Hennessey has sent an official request to the Czechs, and they have agreed to stop mentioning the Texas brand in their works.
