Hong Hoang has very special horns. At first glance, one might mistake someone playfully tying on their heads a wild banana flower with an extremely eye-catching red and yellow color.

Rhododendrons usually live in pairs, but sometimes there are groups of up to 40 individuals. In adulthood, after mating, female birds often find a large tree hole to lay eggs.

When the chicks are strong, the father will use his beak to open the 'door' to let the chicks out. Currently, many countries and organizations have successfully raised and tamed this bird in captivity.

With the terrible hunting speed of humans for meat and jewelry, this bird is in danger of extinction in the wild.
