If you’re a fan of Batman, at some point you’ve probably dreamed of owning your very own Batmobile.
After all, the Batmobile is a seriously cool beast of a vehicle.
Well, as luck would have it, we’ve spotted a Vetter Slash for sale.
Just to clarify, the Vetter Slash isn’t actually the Batmobile, but it sure does resemble it.
The man behind it, Mike Vetter, is a custom car builder based in Florida.
Whether it’s futuristic rides like the Extra Terrestrial Vehcile (ETV) or thoroughbred mid-engine supercars such as the Razor, his builds have been praised for their spectacular design.
One of his unique cars called Vaydor even made it to the big screen in the movie Suicide Squad where it was used by The Joker.
Back in 2020, Mike showcased what was then his latest creation: the radical Vetter Slash.
He had an idea to create a vehicle that mixed elements of a classic street rod with those of an exotic supercar in such a way that it would make jaws drop.
Under the skin, Mike used the chᴀssis and drivetrain from a Corvette C6, but replaced the sports car’s original bodywork with a series of agressively-shaped, bespoke panels.
It’s got a faux scoop that resembles an exposed intake, and a hood that sweeps over the fenders giving the impression the latter are separated from the car.
The street-rod-inspired styling is further emphazized by the gargantuan side vents that are angled inwards, creating more visual separation of the fenders.
At the back, the Vetter Slash’s styling becomes less dramatic and more akin to what we see on an exotic grand tourer.
There are 20-inch wheels in a staggered layout sporting a unique face-over-dish design that matches the car.
Opening the reverse gullwing doors to step inside, you’ll find the interior features a mix of custom pieces and off-the-shelf parts.
There’s a fully-digital guage cluster, a tablet-style infotainment system, and climate control vents with adjustable LED lighting around them.
Power comes from a 6.0-liter LS2 V8 engine making 400hp and 400 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Vetter Slash price
According to the eBay listing, this Vetter Slash could be yours for a cool $115,000, although the owner is open to offers.
