It was three weeks ago when Laki, a puppy found in critical condition on the side of a road in Seville, was rescued and brought to our hospital for immediate treatment. He was diagnosed with four terrible diseases – leptospirosis, anaplasmosis, leishmaniasis, and the dreaded heartworm disease, also known as filariasis. Since arriving at our hospital, Laki has experienced a significant improvement in his health, and today, we bring you an update that we are sure you will love.
As we watch Laki in his recovery, we cannot help but feel grateful for the work of animal rescue organizations like ours. We are Spain, a group that rescues and rehabilitates animals in dire situations. Our work involves rescuing animals that have been abandoned, tortured, and abused by people who do not deserve to live. We share our rescue efforts on YouTube and Facebook, showcasing how we rescue the animals, bring them to the hospital, and provide them with the care they need to recover.
Our videos are straightforward, but they have touched the hearts of millions of people worldwide. The response from the public is overwhelming, and it has been our driving force to continue rescuing animals in need. However, like many animal rescue organizations, we are struggling to make ends meet.
This year has been particularly difficult for us. The ongoing war in Ukraine has taken a toll on the European economies, and families are finding it hard to make ends meet. Many people have stopped donating to us and other organizations, and it has affected our ability to care for the animals under our care. Our commitment to these animals remains unwavering, and we will continue to rescue and rehabilitate them.
We know that many of our supporters have been with us for over a decade and are going through difficult times themselves. It is hard for us to ask for your help, but we must do so for the sake of the animals that need us. We must care for them, and we cannot do it alone. We ask that you please consider donating to our organization, no matter how small the amount. With your help, we can continue to make a difference and save more lives.
We understand that times are tough, and many people may not be able to donate. However, there are other ways to help. You can share our videos on social media, talk to your friends and family about our organization, and volunteer your time to help us in any way you can.
Every animal that we rescue is a reminder of the power of animal rescue organizations. We see firsthand the difference we can make in an animal’s life when we have the resources and support to do so. The animals that we rescue are not just animals, they are beings that deserve love, care, and respect.
