Photographer Amanda McGhee has shared about a special time of her work, which was a cesarean section of twins . As a photographer, I am not allowed into the operating room, so I often use my experience to set a mode that I think is best for that environment and then give the camera to the father.
This time, I gave the camera to the couple's birth assistant, and taught her how to use it and how to capture the moments to capture. Once I started editing, the photos looked pretty good. The doctors allowed her to take pictures of the babies being born and meeting their parents. When I looked closely, I realized that one of the photos clearly shows a bag. Baby B's intact amniotic fluid with baby A's cut umbilical cord, as if she'd already been born.
On closer inspection, along with adjusting the light with photoshop, I can clearly see the feet of a baby still in that amniotic sac, the baby is still inside the mother's body, it's a baby. About a year before the twins were born, the couple lost an unborn child, baby Koltyn. At that time, the father was serving in the army, the mother saw that the fetus did not move much. Pregnant women had to give birth to Koltyn by emergency caesarean section, however, luck did not smile on them. They had a small tattoo in memory of Koltyn.
Doctors have advised the couple to wait at least a year before trying to have another baby. However, the mother became pregnant just a few months later. Incredibly, they were pregnant with triplets naturally. However, one baby died early in pregnancy. They had a normal pregnancy and decided to have a cesarean section to welcome the twins .
